Hamn i Senja – Deluxe Aurora Room. Perfect rooms for a stay in Northern Norway to experience the northern lights or the midnight sun. Not far from Tromsø, you can stay in stunning natural surroundings with panoramic views of both the northern lights and the midnight sun, fjords, and mountains. At Hamn resort on the west coast of the island of Senja – often called the fairytale island or a miniature Norway – you’ll find endless hiking opportunities, nature experiences, and photo opportunities.

Deluxe Aurora room. With its unique interior and magnificent views of Senja’s beautiful landscape, we believe these rooms will charm you and make your stay truly special. The room is designed to frame the view of the fjord, the mountains, and the ever-fascinating Northern Norwegian weather. Most notably, you’ll have a perfect view—directly from a spacious double bed—of both the midnight sun and the magical northern lights, Aurora Borealis, after which the rooms are named.

Nestled close to the main quay and our restaurant, you'll find some of our one-bedroom suites with great harbour views, boasting a size of approximately 50 square meters. Some of these suites are designed over two levels, with the bedroom located on the second floor (one exception). The bedroom features a double bed. While there's no private veranda, you can enjoy ample seating right on the quay just outside.

Our generously sized one-bedroom suite, spanning approximately 40-43 square meters, affords a splendid view of the harbour and mountains, visible from both the living room and your private veranda. The suites can be situated both on the ground floor and on the 1st floor.

Our studio rooms offer approximately 23 square meters of space, including a comfortable en suite bathroom. These rooms feature twin beds and a versatile sofa that can be converted into a sofa bed (with a width of 120 cm), providing extra sleeping options for up to 2 more persons. These rooms do not offer scenic views.

Nestled near the main quay and our restaurant, you'll discover a spacious suite featuring a bedroom and a delightful view of the sea and mountains from both the living room and your private veranda. You also have a perfect view of the midnight sun (18.5-24.7) and the Northern lights from the end of August to the middle of April. Notably, this suite is spread over two levels on the 1st and the 2nd floor.

Located near the main quay and restaurant, one of our suites, measuring around 57 m2, comprises 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The living room provides a view of the main quay, harbour, and nearby mountains. There's a small veranda outside, and ample seating is available on the quay below during the summer season.

The Hamn Panorama apartment is a comfortably furnished, spacious apartment spanning approximately 90 square meters. The apartment includes a panorama view of the fjord, the mountains, and the spectacular phenomena of the midnight sun (from May 18th to July 24th) and the Northern Lights (from late August to mid-April). Additionally, there is a private veranda facing the fjord, where you can soak in the breathtaking surroundings. 

This compact bedroom is designed for guests seeking a comfortable place to sleep during short stays. The room features an ensuite bathroom and offers a total area of approximately 12-15 square meters, including the bathroom. Please note that this room type does not have any view.
