Right outside Hamn, you’ll find one of the most beautiful archipelagos—with white coral beaches and lush, green islands.

Some islands are perfect for going ashore. Enjoy a picnic or take a walk and explore. Two of the islands even have toilets and fire pits, so you can relax on chalk-white beaches surrounded by vibrant, tropical-like scenery. It’s the perfect spot to unwind.

Get close to the elements of nature—you might spot seals, sea eagles, or even a colony of cormorants. And don’t forget your camera—there are countless photo opportunities along the way!

Please Note:
The Bergsfjord archipelago is a protected landscape area.
If you go ashore on any of the islands, please respect the environment and avoid disturbing the wildlife. Not all islands are open to visitors, so make sure to check the guidelines before heading out.

To help preserve this unique and untouched nature, bring back everything you take with you—including all waste. Never throw anything into the sea. Back at Hamn, we offer proper recycling facilities.

 
Certificates Required
To rent a kayak on your own, you’ll need a valid Våttkort (Norwegian paddling certificate).

 
Where to Meet
Please arrive at the reception in the white main building about 15 minutes before your scheduled rental time. Entrance is through the glass building on the main pier.
